Complete Admissions Checklist and Application Process for K-12

APPLICATION:

- Birth Certificate: Submit a copy of the applicant’s birth certificate.
- Standardized Test Results
- Grade K-5 Applicants: Students may submit standardized test results from their current school.
- Grade 6-9 Applicants: Students are required to take the SSAT and the online Character Skills Assessment. We strongly recommend registering for the October through February SSAT test. To register, go to www.ssat.org, or contact SSAT directly at (609) 683-4440. Saint Louis School ID: 6691
- Academic records
- Submit a copy of the applicant's final Report Card from the 2024-25 school year.
- Submit a copy of the applicant's most recent Report Card for the current year.
- Submit a copy of the applicant's most recent test results from your current school.
- Forms from applicant's current school
- Grades K-5 applicants - submit (1) HAIS Confidential Teacher Reference Report Form.
- Grades 6-12 applicants - submit:
- (2) HAIS Confidential Teacher Reference Report Forms. (select from Math, English, Science or Social Science teachers)
- (1) HAIS Confidential Administrative Reference Report Form
- A Consent for Release of Information form may be submitted to the applicant’s current school to release all required academic records directly to Saint Louis School.
- Extra-curricular letters of recommendation may be submitted, however, it will not replace the required evaluation and / or recommendation forms from your current school.
THE FINAL STEP:
- Kindergarten Applicants will be scheduled for an on-campus observation/evaluation session.
- Grades 1-5 Applicants will be scheduled for an on-campus written test/observation session. A personal interview with the applicant and at least one parent may be requested.
- Grades 6-12 Applicants, along with their parent/guardian, will be scheduled for an interview with one or more of our Administrators.
ADMISSIONS DECISIONS:
After the observation/evaluation session or interview, applicant files will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review. Students who are accepted will be required to submit an enrollment deposit by our April 15, 2026 reply deadline.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Students enrolling in Grades 6-9 will be required to attend a Summer Orientation and Evaluation Session.
- Saint Louis School is a one-to-one digital school. Digital Devices (Tablet/Laptop) are required for students in Grades 2-12. Families are responsible for providing their own digital device (PCs or Mac devices are acceptable). Tech Requirements K - 5 . Tech Requirements 6 - 12
- Financial Aid Applications will be available through Clarity starting October 1, 2025. Priority deadline for Financial Aid Applications will be February 28, 2026.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
In addition to the application instructions above, you may take the TOEFL Jr. and submit any other applicable standardized tests. Additional forms may include Teacher Reference Report, Principal/Counselor Recommendation, and extra-curricular recommendations. If submitting a hard copy application, please mail-in your non-refundable application processing fee along with your completed application (checks payable to "Saint Louis School").

WHEN TO REGISTER
To be considered for attendance at Saint Louis School, the cutoff date for general admission is always toward the end of February. You'll receive notification after you complete the application process, and our team reviews it.
GENERAL TUITION COSTS
The tuition cost varies on several factors. We publish these fees in advance of each school year. The cost of admission for the 2025 - 2026 school year:
- Grade K - 5: American student tuition is $15,008.00 with a comprehensive fee of $900.00. International pay $17,377.00 plus the same comprehensive fee.
- Grade 6 - 8: American student tuition is $15,453.00 with a comprehensive fee of $2,000.00. International pay $17,861.00 plus the same comprehensive fee.
- Grade 9 - 12: American student tuition is $17,544.00 with a comprehensive fee of $2,100.00. International pay $20,235.00 plus the same comprehensive fee.
The comprehensive fee covers things, such as various classroom supplies, yearbooks, varying lab materials, class activities, and more. It's possible that the fee might increase during the year. There are also other fees, including a graduation fee.
